Love Dane and Whitney. Great family on both side. Thanks to the author.
Nice clean book about 2 people who were in love but scared to love each other because of the pain of their past
Everything about this book is great. I love the details in it and the suspicion build up of the story. This book is super relatable for both genders and I felt in tune with the characters every step of the way this author made her words come alive through a great love story ! Would recommend to anyone especially ones that are struggling let go of past hurts !
This was a solid book. I enjoy this book better than the first book in the series. I love the interactions and chemistry between Whitney and Dane. I would have love more character development and I would have preferred Dane's issue with the church more in the beginningof the book but overall it was a solid read.
Dane and Whitney's story had a spiritual touch without being overtly preachy. Dane was a charismatic NBA star. At one time, he had been just like a real Darius Lovehall from the movie Love Jones.. Great Dane... as he was known, was a handsome man who was ready to change for the right lady. Whitney was a heartbroken spiritual lady who wanted to have a special someone to love. But because her ex blatantly lied and cheated on her, trust was hard to extend. Finally the couple was able to establish a relationship and Whitney even accept that he had a daughter. Troubles began to surface when Whitney received a job offer that would take her miles away from Dane and her family. The issue would be if they could survive the distance ,and could Whiney trust Dane to be faithful. Especially with a Trot named Toni prowling after Dane. And would Dane resist her advances.. A nice sweet story.
